We are looking for passionate, skilled product managers with a strong technical background to help envision, design, and deliver those capabilities to our internal and external users.

Knowledge and passion for emerging technologies (Api's, Big Data, Native UI's) and how they are used to empower developers and businesses to deliver great productsDeep understanding of Capital One's technical architecture and data ecosystemGrounding in human centered design with a natural empathy for internal users You have a bias to action and a proven track record of delivering minimum viable products and business models to market at rapid speedYou have a high level of intellectual curiosity and are comfortable with ambiguityYou are a fantastic storyteller and are at ease presenting to senior executivesWhat you'll do:
Lead a team of software and data engineers to design and deliver data platform features for internal usersUnderstand the enterprise data requirements and ensure compliance of the system with enterprise patternsCreate a long term vision for your capability and a roadmap that acts both as a learning agenda and a delivery plan for achievement that visionPartner with analysts, data scientists, designers, engineers, and others to continuously refine the vision and roadmap, and to harvest insights from experiments and product/feature launchesWork hand in hand with your engineering colleagues to design and operate sustainable, well-crafted softwareBe a critical leader in a large team of product and analytical peers who are collaborating to build breakthrough capabilities that will fuel the growth of Small Business Card.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience- At least 3 years experience translating business strategy and analysis into software productsPreferred
Qualifications:
- 2
years experience as product owner for data intensive applications- 2
years experience in business analysis or data science/statisticsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
